At the Bryan Bennett Public Library, we strive to keep the Library one of your community's best resources by continually adding to a collection of more than 26,000 hardback books, 5,000 paperback and softbound books, and 109 magazine subscriptions. The Library also provides books on audio cassette, Kaskaskia College video courses, a microfilm reader, copy machine, typewriters, and computers. Additionally, the Library offers a Reading Link program, storytime hours, and special holiday reading programs throughout the year for children. A downstairs room for quiet study is available and the Library houses Marion County Historical and Genealogical Society, which is open to the public on Wednesdays from noon to 4:00 p.m. and by appointment.
